Majoring in MIS

A major in MIS prepares you for a future as information system professionals, innovators, and managers. Coursework provides preparation for a variety of technical leadership positions. The program is interdisciplinary in nature with specialized training in information systems, information management, and information technology so that graduates can ultimately assume managerial positions and provide leadership in information systems innovation.

Academic Advising is mandatory each semester for undergraduate students, prior to the preregistration period, determined by the UGA Registrar's office. Appointments are scheduled with the advisor thru SARA ( Student Advising and Registration Assistant) system. Please note: ALL students must meet with an advisor in order to register for the next semester.
